How VOGABIKE works

Driver’s muscolar traction on the handlebar is transmitted to the rear wheel by a safe and noiseless reinforced tooth belt.
The steering device has been designed on the basis of an aeronautical control system schema.

Driving VOGABIKE is similar …to piloting a fighter: in fact all controls are on the handlebar and everyone can row and drive without moving his hands off the handlebar.

The levers controlling both the rear wheel mechanical brake and the three-speed gear box are placed on the right side of the handlebar, while the lever commanding the front wheels hydraulic disk brakes is placed on the left side.

VOGABIKE board computer

VOGABIKE is equipped with an electronic computer enabling control of trainee’s physical performances level.
Its characteristics are as follows:

1. liquid crystal display which shows the traction power during each stroke of the handlebar. It can be also indicated the amount of Kilocalories consumed by the trainee for specific exercises
2. liquid crystal display indicating the number of strokes per minute and the best result obtained
3. liquid crystal display indicating vehicle speed, partial and total covered distances, average speed, etc
4. a series of push-buttons for data selection and processing

All data are showed both in the metric system or in the British system.

We are developing a different type of computer more suitable for boating clubs and other sporting clubs necessities.
This new computer will enable to transfer to a “personal memory card” all data referring to each individual performance.
